Duncan had an eye infection this week, and last month giardia (yuck!), so I signed him up for his free month of insurance through the AKC. They reimburse 80%. Guess I'd better shop around for the best coverage! His little face is so close to the ground he may pick things up easily!
Aww, poor baby! Isn't his breed just prone to eye gunk because of his facial hair, Little Sister? I looked into insurance way back when Kazia was young, but to insure 5 animals, most of whom were geriatric, would have cost a fortune. I wish I could afford it, though. Of course, the current zoo is also all seniors, so I know it would be expensive. But I know some people with pet insurance who are very happy with it, including some friends whose rottie just had ACL surgery, which was covered.
