January 2010 Reads by Middle Sister

Here are my January 2010 books:

Death Walked In by Carolyn Hart
Murders of Richard III by Elizabeth Peters (a re-read)
Where Serpents Sleep by C. S. Harris
Knitting America by Susan Strawn
Murder on Bank Street by Victoria Thompson

Plus I started reading Anna Karenina for my online book group; I'm in Part 2 of 8, but it's 817 pages long, so I have quite a ways yet to go.

  1. You haven't started The Shack yet? Patty just finished it and loved it. She found it uplifting! I can't wait to read it again! I asked Mom today, 'cause I gave her one for Xmas, and she said she'd forgotten about it but would bring it upstairs.
Little Sis, I didn't buy you one 'cause I know you don't have that much time to read for pleasure, but when/if you want to read it (and I HIGHLY recommend it!), you're welcome to borrow mine! It's a keeper, so I'll always have it.

  2. Nope, not yet. I started AK right after the New Year, and have to read it by the end of our discussion, which lasts through February. When I'm done with it, I'll turn to The Shack.

  3. Wow, an online book group ... what a good idea!
I am enjoying this blog Patty ... found you from Crochetville and love the way you write!
